Description
ViroLogicHIV.com offers access to all of ViroLogic's HIV resources that are
available on the Web. These resources include educational information about
ViroLogic's HIV assays for both healthcare professionals and people living with
HIV, as well as VLink, an online system to access patient test results, and the
Mastering Drug Resistance Program (MDR) for continuing education on HIV drug
resistance.
My role in developing ViroLogicHIV included taking a web design from the Ignite
Health graphics department and producing the webpages using ASP, Javascript, and
DHTML. I've also developed a search engine function for the site, as well as the
ability for the site admin to update news items, calendar events, and powerpoint
slide uploads. Because the site content is dynamically driven, a webpage is used
to update the content without having to make the change to the web file.
Using C# and .Net, I was able to add functionality for the web user to select individual
slides for a list of powerpoint presentations to add to a cart. The user can then download
the selected slides as a single powerpoint file.
