Description
LenStarWeb is an Internet application that is the newest data communications and
workflow management tool of choice for the mortgage banking industry.
In 1999 I was hired by a company called TekStar to build a web version of
LenStar. That same year London Bridge bought the LenStar product and I was hired
to continue my work on the web system. My first task was to build a web
reporting system for LenStarWeb. The reporting system was built using Crystal
Reports and ASP. Once the reporting system was completed, I soon became the
Senior Web Developer for LenStarWeb. Using ASP, Javascript, and DHTML, the
front-end of LenStarWeb was created. The data backend is SQL Server, and
LenStarWeb heavily uses it. Other portions of the site uses custom built COM
objects. One COM, that I built, is used to distibute tables in the Advantage
database format populated from SQL Server.
