DMX Coding is about software, but software doesn't define me. Although developing applications is something
that I thoroughly enjoy, I have many interests outside of programming a website or application. I love to
problem solve, which is very useful in producing a program that does what the user wants. I love to
be creative, and combining the two attributes together allows me to be versatile in finding solutions.
Creativity isn't confined to just art, which is why I'm not a graphics designer, but sometimes this creative
side rears its ugly head. I've always enjoyed movies and skits. Drama is one way to deliver a point, and I've
grown up picking themes from the movies I watch. I think that's the most important thing a film should have.
In the various churches I attend, I felt lead to take this passion of mine and use it to communicate
God's message to the world. Some people need this message communicated in a new, creative way, and that's where
drama comes in. In Monrovia I coordinate a group of kids in skits and movies. In Irvine I'm leading a production
group. Being involved in both nutures the creative side I have, both serving a greater purpose, and each being
able to compliment the other.
This section of the website will be used to showcase the talents of both groups, and also serve as a repository of
materials that drama members can log in to access.
Who knows, DMX Coding may one day add film production to its services.
